Giles joined Anglia Television in Norwich at the beginning of the 1970s - starting off as a trainee film editor and progressing through to becoming a senior film and video editor. He worked on many "classic" Anglia productions, including Roald Dahl's Tales of the Unexpected; Survival, the wildlife programme; dramas, documentaries and local news and sports
